The news was announced by the company that allows instant messages and calls over the Internet and is now available for download and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.9 and later versions and for versions of Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.
This is not the first time that Whatsapp has a desktop version. The application of already enabled users to take advantage of a release web, however, hitherto, this version had some limitations. The web version – which is still available – not allowed, for example, receive notifications of new messages on your computer and depended on an open tab in the browser. The new application promises more interaction and integration with the operating system of the computer and more convenience to users.
Still, there is a condition that remains: you can only use the application on your computer if installed and synchronized on your smartphone.
