Microsoft has no plans to bring Halo 5 for Windows 10


The fact that the Forge editor be released on Windows 10 does not mean that Halo 5: Guardians is the PC way. The 343 Industries pointed to take the shooter to the PC is not in Microsoft’s plans.

March Phil Spencer, boss of Xbox division, explained why Halo 5 will not be available on your PC. He said this was due to the fact that some games have been made keeping in mind certain platforms and therefore not all exclusive to Xbox One will come to PC.

However, the blog post the studio said that Windows 10 remains an important point for the future of the Halo franchise. That said, it is likely that in conjunction with Halo Wars 2 future games in the series are also available on Windows platforms.

It was also confirmed that there will be crossplay between the Forge editor for Windows 10 and the Xbox One. However the content that is created in the PC tool can be shared on Xbox One without problems and vice versa. The Forge Editor in Windows 10 will allow you to create custom matches so players can try their creations to their Xbox Live friends. It should also be noted that the Forge editor will not have matchmaking on the PC.
